St. Michael Catholic School

Where Love and Charity are Found There is God!

Living the Faith. Striving for Excellence. Leading and Serving with Love for 117 Years.

St. Michael Schools theme for the 117th year is  “Where love and charity are found There is God! Living the faith. Striving for excellence. Leading and serving with love for 117 years.  The school continues to teach students that Gods presence is found in everyday ordinary life and when we are loving and kind to one another There is God.

St. Michael School is introducing a new reading program in kindergarten through fifth grade. The program incorporates the latest methodology and will strengthen skills in reading and writing. After seeing the benefits of Chrome Book Computers in the schools junior high science lab, the fifth grade will receive Chrome Book Computers to help support their STEM (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) curriculum and assist students in proficiency for researching and online testing. Robotics was introduced in the fall of 2015 to grades sixth through eighth science classes as part of the junior high STEM program and the Saints Robotics Team was formed. The robotics curriculum is designed to help develop creative thinking, problem solving, teamwork, and communication skills.

St. Michael School is blessed to have an experienced and dedicated faculty and staff.  All of our teachers are certified professionals; many hold advanced degrees, masters, and multiple certifications. The schools faculty participates in ongoing professional development each year, attending classes and conferences steeped in the latest educational programs. Twelve of our faculty and staff members are St. Michael School alumni.
